What is speedminton?
speed badminton (abbreviated speedminton) is a high-energy racquet sport combining the best of Badminton, Tennis, squash and Racquetball.

speedminton can be played indoors, outdoors, and the best bit even at night with specially adapted illuminated shuttles. It can be played following competitive rules, or simply as a casual volley game, both providing an excellent aerobic workout. The Speedminton® brand of rackets are optimized in shape and weight to give you the best possible control, accuracy and agility and have an extremely arm-friendly vibration profile.

In Competitive Play, opponents position themselves in "speed courts", boxes that are eighteen feet square and positioned forty-two feet apart. A tennis court can be easily modified for competitive play.

A casual volley game is easy to learn and not to difficult to master, competitive play, which is ultimately what makes the sport so addictive has a tight learning curve, so players see immediate results from their practice and quickly move from recreational players to speedminton enthusiasts.

There are three different speeder models available for the different methods of play; Fun Speeder, Match Speeder and Night Speeder. The Night Speeder uses a small glow stick that is inserted into the Speeder cap.
